This screen-printed fused glass coaster is handmade in Brighton. It is a colourful handmade accessory for the home of anyone who loves the seaside or who dreams of long, lazy days at the beach. This piece features my illustration of the iconic Palace Pier in Brighton.
It is an ideal gift for a new home; a colourful home accessory, handmade by the sea.
I individually screen-print the image with enamel onto a coloured piece of glass. I then layer it with a clear piece of glass and kiln-fire it for several hours. The finished product has a smooth and tactile finish, ideal to add a splash of handmade character to your home.
Stylish when displayed alone on a coffee table, bedside cabinet or dresser. This design is part of a range of Brighton inspired pictures and coasters – add a pop of colour to your home by mixing and matching the set!
I have printed the image with enamel onto coloured sheet glass, layered with clear glass and kiln-fired for several hours.
Each is finished with four non-slip bumpers on the base.
The main image shows grey glass with black enamel.
You can choose the colour glass you would like.
The coaster measures 10 x 10 cm, with a depth of 3mm.
This is handmade to order and can take 3-5 days. I gift-wrap everything before posting it.
